James River Cellars Winery in Glen Allen will host the Charcuterie How-To Class next month, teaching attendees the art of assembling a charcuterie board.
The family-owned winery produces award-winning wines and boasts an extensive gift shop and Tuscan-style event room. It frequently hosts a variety of events in this space, such wine tastings, live music, private parties, and educational workshops like next month’s how-to class.
The charcuterie class will be led by experts in the field from Grazing Crazy, a gourmet food shop that specializes in charcuterie boards and Boxes. Attendees will get to slice their own meats and cheeses and arrange them in a certain style as instructed by the teachers. The boards will be composed of three types of meat, four types of gourmet cheeses, fresh veggies, seasonal fruit, dried fruit, homemade hummus and jam, nuts, crackers, chocolate, olives, pickles, and bread. A complimentary glass of wine will also be included on the day.
Instructional workshops often rely on printed materials such as Brochures to highlight the key elements of the workshop. Brochure printing services offered by local businesses can help organizers Print these in bulk.
The charcuterie class will take place on Sunday, October 9 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. James River Cellars Winery is located on 11008 Washington Highway. Tickets are $70 per person.
