This April, Virginia Africa Partnership will present the 2024 VAP Youth STEM Fundraising Gala in Richmond, near Glen Allen, to support local youth participating in STEM studies.
The fundraising gala will raise money from ticket sales and donations to go towards scholarships for students who are pursuing STEM-related subjects. Last year, the event raised enough money to supply five scholarships to eligible high school students who planned to pursue STEM in college. This year, the gala aims to raise enough money to furnish 15 scholarships.
The gala also serves as a platform to empower young individuals who are embarking on a great academic journey. The theme this year is “Elevate Them,” with the gala providing an opportunity to inspire more young people, particularly girls and minority students, to take a chance in STEM. There will be a keynote speech, gourmet dinner and cash bar, as well as performances by Adelle Broom of the Latin Ballet of Virginia.
Organizers of charity galas like this will often invite special guests to the event by sending elegantly designed and printed Invitations, which can be sourced from local Stationery printers.
The gala is scheduled for April 6 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at West End Manor Civic Association community Center, 8600 Lakefront Drive, Richmond, just four miles from Glen Allen. Tickets are priced at $50.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Invitations
