Glen Allen area festival to highlight fine wine and cigars

The Smoke and Vine Festival is returning to the Richmond area in July, should anyone in nearby Glen Allen be interested in partaking in fine wine and cigars.

The festival is billed as the area’s premier summer festival, inviting all cigar, wine, and spirits aficionados to partake in luxurious flavors, enticing scents, and heady spirits. The event will also be a chance for the community to come together in good times and fellowship, while also benefiting a good cause. Proceeds raised from ticket sales at the festival will go towards Johnsons's Charities to support children with special needs and disabilities.

Besides a variety of cigar and wine booths, there will also be beer and liquor vendors ready to serve delectable libations. There will be DJs and live entertainment to appeal to the crowds and create an energetic ambiance. No outside food or beverages will be allowed, but food vendors will be present serving delicious local bites.

The wine tastings and souvenir wine glasses with the event logo are not included in general admission, but can be purchased with general admission plus tickets.

The Smoke and Vine Festival is scheduled for July 20 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will take place at The Training Center, located at 2401 West Leigh Street, Richmond. Tickets range in price from $45 to $155 depending on ticket level.
