The show is open to antique and modern trucks, cars, and bikes. There will be awards for the best cars before and after 2000, as well as separate awards for trucks, bikes, and an overall best in show. Vehicles are entered into consideration by local residents through a digital system, accessed through QR Codes. Flyer printing and other paper advertising often use these codes and URLs for easy access to online sources. Promotional material emphasizes the social nature of the event:
“Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the chance to check out some incredible vehicles and connect with fellow car lovers!”
Proceeds from entry fees will go towards the ACE (Advanced Career Education) Center at Virginia Randolph Recreational Area. The Center is a school that provides support for training in mechanical trades such as auto repair as well as career navigation tools for students. Attendance for spectators will be free, with parking provided by the Center.
The inaugural ACE Car Show will take place at the Virginia Randolph area in Glen Allen on the morning and afternoon of May 10.
