A tree climbing course for arborists is set to be hosted by Vermeer All Roads in Ashland next month.
In 2019, Vermeer Northeast and Vermeer Mid Atlantic merged to become a single company, Vermeer All Roads. One of the industries that Vermeer All Roads specializes in is arboriculture equipment.
This one-day Ashland arboriculture training course will center on advanced tree climbing techniques for arborists. Students will be able to review detailed explanations of safe climbing practices, see demonstrations, and practice climbing for themselves. Techniques the workshop will focus on include how to safely perform tree rigging and how to climb with a rope and harness. When hosting education events, organizers often turn to brochure printing to produce informative printed references for participants.
Arborists in training can sign up for this event online for a fee of $40 per individual. The cost of registration includes a free lunch and a 6.5 ISA Certified Arborist CEU at the end of the day. All participants must bring their own pair of safety glasses, a lawn chair to sit on, and a hard hat.
This educational event is scheduled to occur on Monday, September 14 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Regardless of weather conditions on the day of the event, the workshop will still proceed through sunshine or rain.
