Downtown Ashland is getting a dose of holiday spirit with a caroling event this December.
The caroling event is part of Ashland’s Light Up the Tracks, a seasonal weekly holiday festival featuring holiday-themed activities, sing-alongs, and other Forms of entertainment.
In addition to the caroling, there are also choir groups who will be walking through downtown and making several stops later that same night, including at the Henry Clay Inn, Library Plaza, and Changing Reins, before returning to Town Hall for its conclusion.
The caroling event in mid-December is happening during a yearly transformation of the downtown Ashland area known as Light Up the Tracks. The tradition involves decorating the trackside historic district with holiday decorations, such as buildings lined with Christmas lights. The decorations come up the weekend before Thanksgiving and stay in place until New Year’s Day.
With this makeover of the downtown area comes a number of holiday-themed activities, one of which is the forthcoming caroling event.
Musical events like this may choose to use flyer printing to get the word out about recruiting new talent, or to advertise for upcoming shows.
Caroling in Downtown Ashland is happening on Saturday, December 13 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Ashland Town Hall at 121 Thompson Street in Ashland. There are also a number of other Light Up the Tracks events happening throughout December.
