Tribute band to perform in Ashland

The Allman Brothers tribute band Skydog will be giving a live performance in January at the Ashland Theatre.

Fans of the Allman Brothers can watch a show starring Skydog, a talented tribute band with nearly 13 years of playing experience. The group brings several of the Allman Brothers’ songs to life during their performances, including hits like Don’t Keep Me Wonderin’, Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More, and Black Hearted Woman. Guests are not permitted to bring outside concessions to the theatre, though there will be snacks and drinks for sale at the venue.

The band was formed in 2009 and comprises seven members. Brian Fones and Jeremy Simmons provide vocals for the group while Brian Williams plays the guitar. There are multiple percussionists in Skydog, including Dusty Ray Simmons, Jason Neal, and Keith Cable. Those interested in supporting the tribute band can get a Skydog logo shirt for $25. Performers similar to this may add their own Logo Design onto their merch to improve consumer recognition of the band.

The Allman Brothers tribute show will be held on January 29 at 7:30 pm. Doors to the Ashland Theatre will open at 6:30 pm. General seating in the venue can be bought for $15, while seats in the first two rows and loge are available for $25. Skydog will also be performing in Roanoke, Virginia on April 30 at Martin’s Downtown.
