Ashland residents are invited to welcome the fresh fruits of the season during the community’s Strawberry Faire.
This family friendly event, which is dedicated to everything to do with the strawberry, will feature freshly picked berries either eaten right out of the hand or as part of one of the foods that will on offer. Strawberry shortcake will be the featured dish, and along with this, those who come to the Faire will be able to browse through the hundreds of vendor displays and booths that will be set up for the day.
Live entertainment is also on the agenda, and the whole function has been designed to cater to everyone in the family. A banner printing company can be called upon to produce Banners and other large themed decorations for a large outdoor function such as this.
The event, which is scheduled to take place on the streets that are a part of the campus of Randolph-Macon College, will serve as a fundraiser for the local communities. A portion of the proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for deserving students, and the rest will be utilized for grants for not-for-profit groups.
