Seminar for administrative professionals to be held near Ashland

The Administrative Professionals Summit is set to take place near Ashland this summer.

Hosted by the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association (VHHA) Foundation, this one-day event was created for administrative and executive support staff. All workers who tackle administrative tasks in an organization, department, group, or office in any industry are welcome to register for the event.

Sandy Geroux, a motivational leadership speaker, will lead the event. Over the years, she has taught thousands of company employees how to improve their workplace skills and strengthen their own innate talents and creativity.

The summit will include interactive sessions and keynotes that help participants from Ashland and other areas of Hanover County find practical solutions to issues including, addressing and resolving workplace conflicts, improving service and communication skills, dealing with burnout, and improving time management. When organizing similar educational events, hosts can visit Print shops to create an array of materials for participants, including Flyers, Brochures, and other handouts.

Those who wish to join the summit can register online at $199 per person before July 10. Participants who will be attending in groups of three people or more will receive a 10% discount.

This educational workshop is scheduled to occur in Glen Allen at the VHHA Conference Center on Thursday, July 23 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
