The Gallery Artists Group Show will be taking place in Ashland from May to June. Participating artists are those who are represented by Gallery Flux.
The opening reception for the show will donate a
portion of proceeds from a silent art auction to the Hanover Humane Society's ‘Paws for a Cause’. All of the offered works of art will be related to animals in some way and include paintings and jewelry.
Another reception will also be held early in June as part of Ashland First Thursday.
The exhibition itself is expected to feature pottery pieces, watercolor and oil paintings, and sculpture. All of the works are available for sale.
In order to advertise the upcoming exhibition in Ashland, organizers of such events often contact postcard printing companies to help. A postcard featuring a few of the works of art on display, with event information on the back, may encourage more people to visit. Postcards are inexpensive to produce and mail, and can reach a lot of people quickly.
The Gallery Artists Group Show is running at Gallery Flux from May 1 to June 28. The opening reception is being held on May 1 from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm and is free to attend.
