The city of Ashland and Ashland Street Parties have been sponsoring monthly street parties for residents all summer long but, in a few weeks, it will be time for the End of Summer Party. Funds raised go to support various community preservation projects.
The party, like all of the past ones, is set to feature games for the kids, a variety of food and drink for purchase, live music, and, of course, lots of dancing. Musical entertainment will be provided this time by Ron Moody and the Centaurs. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit and enjoy the music.
This event should be a good opportunity for friends and neighbors to get together and for families to celebrate the ending of summer with the entire family.
It is likely that the organizers of the various street parties have been availing themselves of some services from Ashland printing companies. This might include Banners to decorate the stage, Posters to advertise the event, or Signs to show guests where to go to make the most of the proceedings.
