The ‘Lay of the Land’ exhibition will be showing at Gallery Flux beginning this month and running for seven weeks.
This is a group show that consists of artwork depicting the beauty of the countryside, farm animals, and other aspects of rural life. Some of the artists who will be showing and selling their works are Nancy Bass, Bob Carlson, Scott Harris, Joseph Burrough, Ami DiGi, Kim Hal,l and Linda Hollet-Bazouzi. Works will consist of oil on canvas, panels, linen and etched aluminum, acrylic paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, and stoneware.
There will be two opening receptions held for this exhibition, with one taking place this month and the other next month. Visitors will no doubt have a chance to meet some of the artists and find out about their processes.
This Ashland exhibition may attract those who work for area graphics or printing companies, since seeing other's artwork might influence them in the future projects. It should also attract art fans from the city.
The exhibition will be on display at Gallery Flux from August 6 until September 26. The opening receptions will be held on August 6 and September 3 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
