Hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to attend an expo in October held at the Virginia Center Common in Ashland.
The Green Top Outdoor Expo is a family-friendly event where consumers can interact with hundreds of vendors while partaking in activities and watching live demonstrations. This year, the convention will feature a Pure Fishing fish tank, live music, and an educational area organized by Ducks Unlimited Greenwing. Many special guests will attend the expo, including Shane Coley, Michael Waddell, and Kip Campbell.
Children at the event can pay a visit to the on-site education stations to learn about subjects like archery, bass, and waterfowl. Kids aged 5-12 will also get to participate in a scavenger hunt where one child will win a lifetime hunting and fishing license. Several charities will be supported during the expo, such as the National Wild Turkey Federation, Hunters for the Hungry, and Virginia Deer Hunter Association. Organizations like these can spread awareness for their causes by using brochure printing to make handouts for eventgoers.
The expo will take place on October 2 and 3. No registration is required to attend the event, and free admission and parking is available to all guests. Attendees interested in staying in a local hotel can get discounted rates at businesses such as Tru by Hilton Ashland and the Hampton Inn & Suites Virginia Center.
