A four-day rheology course is set to occur in Ashland this summer.
Created for individuals with three to four months of experience with rheology software and hardware, this detailed training event will center on topics including the basics of rheology and how to best use RheoCompass™ software and MCR rheometer hardware.
Topics that the course will cover include the basics of flow properties, viscoelastic behavior, and viscosity; data analysis and interpretation; how to make accurate, reproducible measurements; the fundamentals of the RheoCompass™ software; how to perform calibration verification and adjustments for the MCR rheometer; and proper maintenance of the rheometer and its measuring systems and accessories.
This Ashland rheology course will be taught through direct use of the MCR rheometers, RheoCompass™ software, and classroom work. When organizing courses, hosts often use printing services to produce Brochures, Flyers, and other handouts that detail course topics.
Tickets to the event can be purchased for $925 per person online. Beginners at rheology, as well as experienced users of rheology software and hardware, are welcome to sign up for the course.
This information-packed bootcamp is scheduled to take place at the Anton Paar USA World of Rheology laboratory on Tuesday, August 25; Wednesday, August 26; Thursday August 27; and on Friday, August 28 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on each day.
