The Pamunkey Regional Library will be organizing a show in July for Ashland students to teach them about interesting creatures.
The Zanimal Show is a program created by the organization Eyes of the Wild that introduces children to exotic animals. The presentation will teach viewers facts about the featured creatures and their natural habitats. The activity will also discuss how people can help preserve the environment and protect the animals on Earth. Attendees are allowed to ask questions during the program to learn more about the subject.
Eyes of the Wild is a facility founded by Travis Gale that provides homes to over 175 exotic creatures. Gale previously worked for Monmouth County Parks as an environmental educator and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology. The organization’s mission is to unite people and animals while drawing attention to environmental issues through educational programs. The broadcast will be held on Saturday, July 24 from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. The activity is intended for kids between pre-K and the fifth grade. The presentation will be held over a Zoom call, and all attendees must register in advance to join.
