The annual 4th of July and Pie Contest is taking place in Ashland this Independence Day.
This family-friendly festival attracts thousands of residents each year and offers activities that appeal to people of all ages and interests.
One of the most popular activities of the day is the parade which features dancers, music and bicycle brigades among other things.
Music will be provided throughout the day by the Hanover Concert Band and guests will be invited to sing along to the patriotic music. There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy, lawn games and an apple pie contest. In past years, the winning pies received prizes and were auctioned off which will likely be repeated this year. There will also be a patriotic pet contest, a watermelon seed spitting competition and other activities.
No doubt a large number of Ashland residents will be interested in attending this fun event. In order to advertise events such as these, local Print companies are often asked to provide products such as Flyers and Posters that are then distributed in the community.
