Ashland organization to educate students on solar sites

DF Real Estate & Land Resources, LLC will be holding a class in Ashland to teach students about assessing solar sites.

The Solar Site Assessment is an in-person course where participants can learn how to determine the available solar resources in a location. The topics in the class include shade analysis, system sizing, energy efficiency recommendations, and financial analysis. The program also teaches students about PV (photovoltaic) rebates and incentives. Educators for courses such as this can use brochure printing to give attendees a helpful resource to bring home.

The instructor of the site assessment course will be Angelica DelliCarpini, a bilingual real estate agent who has been a part of the industry for more than 20 years. She has also worked as a Solar/Wind Energy Land Acquisition Negotiator. DelliCarpini serves multiple areas throughout Virginia, such as Colonial Heights, New Kent, and Glen Allen. Her other specialties include working with new construction sites, solar farms, and tiny homes.

The course will be held from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1, and each lesson will last from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Students may sign up for the class for $299. There will also be another identical course taught by DelliCarpini that begins on August 8 for the same price. All students should register in advance for the site assessment class.
