Ashland farm to organize summer wine fest

The Hanover Vegetable Farm will be holding an outdoor festival that Ashland locals and visitors can attend.

The 5th Annual Strawberry and Wine Festival offers guests a tasting experience where they can try various alcoholic drinks while listening to live performances. The farm will have over 15 types of wines, ciders, and meads available to sample, and all guests 21 and up will be given a commemorative wine glass. There is also a beer garden at the fest operated by the Rockville Center that serves beverages like Bud Light and the strawberry lager Abita. Root beer will be given to minors.

Several bands will perform at the strawberry and wine festival, including The Dirty Runaways, Right Turn Clyde, and Cobalt Whiskey. Guests can also purchase food from merchants such as Mr. Ray’z Big Dogz and The Return of the Mac. Over 75 vendors will set up booths that people can browse while at the event. Companies with stalls at festivals similar to this may hand promotional Pens to customers to promote higher brand recognition and connect with visitors.

The festival will take place on Saturday, June 27 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Sunday, June 28 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets will cost $17 at the gate and $10 when bought in advance. A fireworks show will be held on the first night at 9:15 pm.
