Families across Ashland that are looking for an activity that will bring all the members together in a spirit of fun and community service are invited to participate in the Ashland Harvest Run.
The event, which is being held in support of Hanover Safe Place and the GWFC Ashcake Women’s Club, will offer both 5km and 10km options, as well as a fun one-mile Family Pumpkin Walk. The runs will be chip timed, and this service is being offered courtesy of Commonwealth Timing. Race packets for the day will be available for pickup at the Ashland Library ahead of time, and they can also be obtained at the staging area for the race on the day of the event.
Those who participate in the run will be given a custom designed shirt that has been prepared for the day, and anyone who wishes to receive one is advised to register before October 6 to ensure they will get one.
