This year, Ashland celebrates the 4th Annual Strawberry and Wine Festival. With live music, fresh strawberries, wine tasting, and more, this event is designed to be a family-friendly weekend.
There are two stages at this event: the main stage and the barn stage. Each will have live performers all during the open hours. The bands are all classified primarily as country, but many have songs from other genres, including ‘80s classics, pop, and Southern rock.
The organizers of this event are donating $1 of the purchase of every ticket to the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. Tickets are currently on sale for $10, although at the door the price will increase to $15. Children 10 and under are free, as are people age 90 or over. Pets are allowed at this event, provided they are kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
This event is held at the Hanover Farm in Ashland. The farm has been there since 1902, and has served many roles in the community throughout the years. The farm itself is open to the community seven days a week from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Flyer printing is a common way to promote this sort of event, as Flyers are easy to mail and serve as a good reminder. This year, the Strawberry and Wine Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19. Saturday the event will be open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
