Randolph-Macon College in Ashland will be holding a children’s tennis camp in July for all ability levels.
The Adidas Tennis Summer Camp is a program that works with kids and teens to build their tennis skills by using personalized coaching sessions. The camp will use the college’s new tennis complex, which has 10 courts, bathrooms, and lighted courts for night-time games. There will also be an indoor training area on hand in case the weather conditions become unfavorable. A few of the lessons in the program include setting goals, improving form, and how to be a good sport.
The company employs experienced tennis players to serve as coaches for their programs, such as Conor Smith, the head men’s tennis coach at Bowdoin College, and Steve Williams, who is the owner of Front Range Academy. The instructors work to create positive environments for their tennis players by following the organization’s core values of sportsmanship, excellence, and fun. The training sessions are available in several cities, such as Avon, Pella, and Fort Collins. Organizations that hold sport-related summer camps such as this may use Print shops to make custom T-Shirts for their campers.
The tennis camp will be held from Sunday, July 24 to Friday, July 29. Students who participate in the day camp can pay $549 to attend the program, while campers in the overnight group must pay $849.
