The Kiwanis Club of Ashland will organize a car show in May to help fund its community service projects.
The Kar-Wanis Car Show is a community event where people can show off their vehicles while helping the Kiwanis Club of Ashland support local children. Participants can choose from multiple car categories, including Modified 1959 and Older, Stock 1997 and Newer, and Stock 1960-1996. Several classes of vehicles will be judged on cleanliness and car condition. The vehicle owners who place first and second in each category will receive a trophy.
There are many sponsorship opportunities at the Kiwanis Club’s car show for organizations that want to promote their brand with the organization. The packages range from $100 to $1,500. Those who pay $100 will be featured at the next Kiwanis Club meeting after the event and be included on the group’s website. Companies must spend at least $250 to be added to the car show’s program. The $500 tier lets businesses add their names to the sponsor-selected trophy.
The car show will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The cost to register for the competition is $15 per vehicle owner. The venue for the contest is the Ashland Junction Shopping Center. Community service organizations that host similar events to this may use poster printing to promote their fundraiser competitions to more people.
