The Central VA Mustang Club will be organizing a charity show in September at the Bass Pro Shops in Ashland.
The 36th Annual Mustang & Ford Car Show is a judged event where people can look at iconic vehicles from around the Commonwealth of Virginia. This year, the competition will accept up to 155 cars into the show. Eventgoers have a chance at winning door prizes during the contest and can partake in a 50/50 drawing. The activity will also have on-site vendors for guests to visit. Businesses with booths at public competitions like this may use banner printing to draw more attention to their brand.
A portion of the money from the car show will go towards the Massey Cancer Center. The organization was founded in 1974 and uses its resources to research cancer treatment and prevention. The group wishes to improve the lives of all individuals impacted by cancer by offering academic and patient care programs. The center also organizes events like the Commonwealth of Virginia Cancer Research Conference.
The car show will occur on September 18 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. People must register their vehicles for the event by September 11, and the registration fee will be $30 per car. Automobiles that do not have a visible fire extinguisher will face an automatic two-point deduction from their score.
