The Center of the Universe Brewing Company (COTU) in Ashland will have a festival in April that celebrates bees and beekeeping.
The Pollinator Festival is an event where people can learn about the significance of bees while participating in fun and educational activities. There will be beekeeping demonstrations for guests at the fest, and visitors can explore interactive exhibits that feature local animals and share the importance of preserving their environments. Attendees interested in starting their own garden for pollinators can purchase plants at the festival’s seed and plant sale.
COTU will also be sharing limited-release beers for the celebration that are infused with honey and flowers. Those who want to buy food at the event can visit the Just Cukin Food Truck, which sells dishes such as chicken sandwiches, pulled chicken dinners, and mac and cheese. There will also be a live performance from Saint Square, an indie rock band comprised of Ben Berumez and Ethan Berumez. The duo has released original singles like Crashing Down and No Clear Skies.
The Pollinator Festival will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There is no cost or registration needed to participate in COTU’s event, and all ages are allowed to attend the event.
