Ashland brewery to hold holiday crafting activity

FirEver Pines will be hosting a crafting event in December at the Center of the Universe Brewing Company in Ashland.

Pines & Pints is an event series organized by FirEver Pines where people can have fun creating a holiday decoration while tasting a beverage from the venue. Participants in the activity will receive fresh cedar and white pine cuttings, painted branches, and dried flowers to use in their creations. Guests can also select a hand-tied bow for their wreaths. Several businesses have participated in the Pines & Pints series, including the Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, The Hive Coffee House and Café, and Blue Bee Cider.

FirEver Pines is a business co-founded by Ben & Angel Snyder that primarily sells seasonal decorations. Ben is a graduate of Virginia Tech, and Angel earned a degree from Radford University. The plants used in the store’s products are grown on the owners’ farms in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, and Caroline County, Virginia. People can also purchase Christmas trees and hand-made festive bows from the business.

The wreathmaking activity will take place on Wednesday, November 30 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Tickets to FirEver Pines’ event can be purchased for $50. Only one beer is included in the cost of the program. Those who organize seasonal crafting events such as this can use flyer printing to locally advertise their programs to potential customers.
