Ashland brewery to benefit cancer foundation

The Ashland Brewery will organize a music festival in March and April to help raise funds for a cancer-fighting foundation.

The Hair Today/Bald Tomorrow Music Festival is an event where people can support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-run organization that helps research cures for childhood cancer. Several bands will take part in the show, such as Earth and Lunar Rendezvous, Crowded Minds, and Generations Trio. Food for the event will be served by Boka Tako and El Guapo. Attendees can also visit the Richmond Flying Squirrels and participate in raffles at the festival.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a nonprofit that fights against childhood cancer by looking into potential cures and treatments. The organization assists hospitals with their high-impact clinical trials by funding the tests. There are over 380 institutions in the foundation that have been impacted by St. Baldrick’s. The group helped fund gene therapy programs and discovered an immunotherapy drug candidate that may help kids fight cancer with their immune systems.

The music festival and charity event will be held on March 9th and April 27th. Both dates of the fest will last from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There is no cost for guests to enter the festivals, and all ages can attend the brewery concert. Companies in charge of fundraising events like this may rely on banner printing services to help share their programs.
