Ashland brewery to add seasonal beverage to menu

The Origin Beer Lab in Ashland will temporarily serve a new alcoholic drink in October.

Hard Cider on Tap is a multi-night event where customers at the Origin Beer Lab can try the company’s newest seasonal creation. Guests can try the brewery’s semi-sweet hard cider for three days. The venue will also have a firelit beer garden where visitors may relax. The beer lab features a maximum of eight beers, and the only place to try these beers is at the business. The venue offers draft beers such as Vienna Lager, Cryo Splash Dipa, and Imperial Pale Ale.

The Origin Beer Lab is a sister company of Ashland’s Center of the Universe Brewing Company. The business was founded by Chris and Phil Ray in 2011. The company aims to offer customers a constantly changing and evolving selection of ale styles. Many events are held at the business, such as taproom trivia activities, bingo sessions, and rock concerts. The beers available on tap at the company include Uncool Salted Lime Sour, Richmond Rally Cap, and Exit 89 Lager.

The new hard cider will be available on Friday, October 27 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and Sunday, October 29 from noon to 6:00 pm. Registration for the event is not necessary. Brewing companies that hold similar events may use printing services to make beer advertisements that generate interest in their upcoming products.
