Ashland activities center holds holiday ball

The Hanover Arts and Activities Center in Ashland will organize a masquerade ball on December 31st.

The New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball is a program that is co-produced by the Downtown Ashland Association and the Hanover Arts and Activities Center. The proceeds from the event will support the nonprofit missions of both presenters. Those who attend the ball can enjoy live music and drinks from the Center of the Universe Brewing and Shaken Not Spurred. Guests will also receive a toasting glass of sparkling wine from The Caboose Market & Café.

Entertainment for the New Year's Eve party will be provided by Blue Guitar, a band known for its covers of hits from rock, jazz, and pop. The group has performed at many local venues, including Cul's Courthouse Grille. Food for the ball will be made by Strawberry Street Catering, a business that was initially known as the Strawberry Street Cafe in Richmond. Similar companies can promote themselves at events like this by wearing branded Apparel made by Print shops.

The New Year's Eve celebration will be held on December 31st from 9:00 pm to midnight. General admission to the ball is $65 per person, and VIP tickets will cost $300. Those with VIP admission will receive exclusive seating and complimentary refreshments at the venue. All guests are asked to wear masks to the event.
