An open art gallery is set to take place near Ashland this November.
Hosted and organized by the Crossroads Art Center, the art gallery is one of many open events that the organization holds to allow artists to showcase their work. Guests often visit the center to view a wide range of art categories such as fine art and crafts.
This three-hour art gallery event will feature perks such as art demonstrations, original works of art, beverages, and food. The Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association (MRAA) will display a juried exhibit of specially chosen art for its 65th annual show. Art styles will include geometric rigor, abstract expressionism, fanciful color lyricism. Themes that the show will cover include personal narratives, social justice, open spaces, and climate change.
Artists whose work will be displayed at the gallery include Adele Castillo and Jim Smither, the latter of whom started his art career in 1993.
Locals from Ashland and other nearby communities can register online for this event at no cost. When organizing art-related events, hosts often use effective economic advertising methods such as poster printing to put up colorful, visually stunning printouts that will catch the eye of anyone who encounters them.
This event is scheduled to occur at the Crossroads Art Center in Richmond on Friday, November 20 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
