Annual strawberry festival returns to Ashland

The 38th Strawberry Faire will be hosted in Ashland this year.

Since 1982, this fruity festival has taken place every year to celebrate the strawberry harvest, as well as the Ashland community itself. Each year, this thriving event attracts tens of thousands of locals and visitors alike.

Over three hundred Hanover County organizations will attend the festival as vendors. This includes community sellers offering antiques, arts, crafts, and plants, as well as local businesses and nonprofit groups. Vendors at similar events often use banner printing to create colorful decorations that effectively represent their organizations.

A parade will kick off this family-friendly Ashland event with the ‘Hanover Heroes’ and ‘Strawberry Kids’. Those who attend the Strawberry Faire will be able to enjoy fresh strawberries and many other foods, drinks, live music, and browsing or shopping at the diverse range of vendor booths. The organizers of festivals often use poster printing to create eye-catching advertisements that outline important event details.

Entry to the Strawberry Faire is free and open to everyone of all ages. Several activities for children will be available throughout the day, including the berry walk, the strawberry corn hole, an interactive light game, a ring toss, and the berry walk.

This festive event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 6 at the Randolph-Macon College campus.
