The 31st annual Herbs Galore and More is taking place at Maymont next month
The event features a marketplace kitted out to feature more 50 vendors representing local businesses. They will be selling items such as plants, crafts, and gardening accessories, and there will also be a food court corner. Visitors can attend talks in the Meet the Expert speaker series with topics for both novice and expert gardeners, including natural pest control, saving seeds, and worm composting.
In addition, organizers are looking for donations of used Books, planters, tools, and plants to be sold at the ‘From One Garden to Another’ booth. Those who plan to purchase a lot of plants can check them to be picked up on their way out.
This event will no doubt attract many in the city, along with surrounding areas such as Ashland, who are ready to leave the winter behind. Organizers may invest in services such as flyer printing to spread the word in the community.
