Annual conference to discuss changes in healthcare

The 5th annual Virginia Health Care Conference is taking place this June, and is partly presented by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce.

The theme for the conference is ‘Transformation in the health care industry: accelerating value and innovation’. It is aimed at professionals in the health sector, those in the insurance industry, entrepreneurs, employers, and students. The event will start off with a welcome by Barry DuVal, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The keynote speech will be delivered by Jeff Bauer. The rest of the day will consist of panels on topics such as changes in healthcare, research and development, and solutions to improve health.

There will also be a lunch and the conference will close with the awarding of the Game Changer Award in Employee Health, which was chosen by a panel of judges.

Those in the healthcare sector from all over Virginia, including from nearby Ashland, are likely to want to attend this conference. Local printing companies may provide marketing materials to help attract more attendees.

The Virginia Health Care Conference is being held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on June 4 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Conference fees are $125 per person or $50 for students. Call the Virginia Chamber of Commerce at 804-644-1607 to find out more about this event.
