Local actor Yvonne Hudson will perform a short play about the life of a local suffragist, with live music from the Washington Jazz Orchestra.
Handmade sashes are being sewn for the tea and will be available for $10. Attendees can wear their sashes during the tea, and during a march that will held down Main Street in Washington after the event.

Tickets are $25. Reservations are recommended as space is limited. Sponsorship is available for $100 which includes a ticket to the tea, a sash and a mention in the program. Local printing shops can often be called on to create and print professional programs for events such as these.
