Annual festival celebrates all things Polish
The 2nd annual Pennsylvania Polka and Ethnic Food Festival will be held next month for two days.
Those who are planning to attend will enjoy lots of Polish and other ethnic foods such as pierogies, waffles and strudel. There will also be wine, beer and cocktails available for purchase. There are going to be four bands performing each day of the festival, both Polish and Slovenian. Among those scheduled to appear is Henny and the Versa J's. In addition to music, there will be dance performances and plenty of traditional cultural costumes. Of course, the audience will be welcome to dance along with some of the bands.
There are also set to be lots of games to play and a variety of door prizes. In addition, a vendors’ marketplace will offer lots of Polish and Slovenian-related merchandise for sale from local artisans and entrepreneurs. This may include traditional clothing, handmade jewelry, and works of art.
This event will attract guests from all around the area, including those from McMurray. Organizers may invest in flyer printing services in order to advertise this event in the surrounding communities.
The Pennsylvania Polka and Ethnic Food Festival will be held at the Monroeville Conventions Center from May 14 to 15. Admission is $10 per day. To find out more about this event and the scheduled activities, contact Kelly Simon at 1-800-747-5599.
