Newark experience gives children educational fun
An event taking place in Newark shortly after the start of the new year will provide parents with a break and their youngsters with a day of exciting, hands-on learning activities.
From Slime to the Ice Age is a Winter Break Day Camp from The Works. The goal for the company is to provide Newark residents of all ages with access to unique and engaging artistically focused activities that also incorporate educational subjects like history and science. There are activities and displays throughout the year, with one of the most popular being the interactive glassblowing.
This day camp is open to children between the ages of five and ten. The attendees will be divided into smaller, age-based groups for those ages five to seven and eight to ten. Both will experience the camp activities at the same time as the other group.
Due to the length of the event, parents must provide their kids with a packed lunch. Tickets can be found on the website for The Works. Those with memberships will have a price of $45 per attending child, while others will have a $55 fee. In order to participate, kids must be registered prior to the date.
The location within The Works is its STEM Clubhouse. Flyer printing is commonly undertaken as a promotion technique for events geared towards children.
The camp is taking place between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 2.
