Nutrition association to host expo in Newark
The School Nutrition Association (SNA) of Ohio will organize its expo at The Ohio Event Center in Newark this September.
The SNA Expo & Education Event is a conference where those employed by local school districts can take part in mandatory training sessions and browse vendor booths from industry partners of the SNA. The training sessions at the expo will be led by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Attendees at the education event will have a chance to connect with other school district employees during an evening networking reception on the conference's first night.
The SNA's industry partners will only be allowed to attend the event as exhibitors, though representatives from their booths can participate in the conference's networking reception and group breakfast. All partners must renew their membership for the 2024-2025 year before registering for the event. There are three levels of partnership that companies can choose from, including Silver Member, Gold Member, and Platinum Member.
The SNA's expo will be held from Tuesday, September 24th to Wednesday, September 25th. There is no cost for school district staff to register for the educational event. All guests must register for the expo in advance. The cost to stay at the conference's venue is $139 per night. Associations in charge of similar expos can use stationery printers to make custom writing utensils and notepads for their event attendees.
