A flavorful stroll is being organized in Newark this month, giving residents and visitors a charming introduction to several of the town’s shops and businesses.
The 2026 Chocolate Walk is getting closer on the calendar, with the Downtown Newark Association putting together an event that pairs chocolate sweets with strolling. Visitors can explore Newark’s downtown streets to discover businesses, shops, cafes, and bakeries, helping the local economy grow. Local vendors will have several types of chocolates for guests to try along the walking route.
Attendees can also discover new flavor combinations that highlight the profiles of different treats available in town. Vendors who attend events like this can use business card printing to share contact information with potential customers or to place Business Cards with purchases for additional brand exposure.
Much of the experience will be outdoors, and attendees should check the weather to dress for the forecasted conditions to ensure an optimal experience. Registered participants will meet at the Midland Theatre, located at 36 North Park Place, ahead of the Chocolate Walk to check in and pick up their shopping bag, along with a list of participating businesses and a map of downtown Newark.
The walk is scheduled for Friday, September 25, running from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Interested individuals can make reservations online for $15 per person.
