A Newark event that takes inspiration from an old fashioned summer celebration will bring the community together this July, and it will offer a warm welcome to all who attend.
The guests at the “In the Good Ole' Summertime" picnic planned by the Licking County Historical Society will enjoy a step back in time with a seasonal picnic, and this will be the organization's 79th annual meeting and dinner. It will also be part of Ohio’s American’s 250th birthday festivities, and RSVPs are required.
The function will kick off with a social hour, and this will be followed by the picnic-style dinner. It will be a celebration of local history, and Douglas Stout and members of Judge Jerome Buckingham’s family will present a special program. The festivities are slated for the courtyard at Veteran’s Park, and tickets are priced at $30.00 per person. As a special treat, the Sherwood-Davidson House will be offering tours, and there will be a special collection on display.
Not for profit groups often choose to invite the general public to attend their AGMs along with their membership, allowing them to ask questions from the floor. A brochure printing company can prepare hard Copies of a group’s annual and financial reports to distribute in advance, as well as digital Copies to post online.
The Licking County Historical Society will host its 79th Annual Dinner and Meeting on July 11th. The final date to reserve a seat is June 27th.Get a Free Quote for Copies
