Skilled musician to visit Newark
A renowned saxophonist is bringing his show out to Newark in a few weeks.
Kenny G is a composer and saxophone players whose start came in 1976, when he recorded alongside Cold, Bold & Together, as well as playing in Barry White’s Love Unlimited Orchestra. His debut, self-titled as “Kenny G”, followed in 1982. Since then, he has continually wowed audiences with his talent, releasing albums full of both original works and covers of popular tunes with his unique sound mixed in.
Within Kenny G’s discography are songs like “The Moment,” “You’re Beautiful,” “Sentimental,” “Havana,” “The Champion’s Theme,” “Jasmine Flower,” “Over The Rainbow,” “Paradise,” “A Mother’s Lullaby,” and “Always.”
This latest tour for Kenny G will be making a stop in Newark’s Midland Theatre. Tickets for the show are available online through the theater’s website and via phone through the venue’s box office. Available options at the time of writing range in cost from $59.75 to $99.75. Any seats available in one of the balcony sections of the venue can only be accessed by stairs.
