Yonkers to enjoy fun of haunted hayride

The legend of Sleepy Hollow is a story that was made into a popular animated film, and this tall tale will be the inspiration behind a Yonkers-area Halloween activity.

The community of Sleepy Hollow will be offering a haunted hayride that will be filled with thrills and chills, and it will follow the route said to have been taken by Ichabod Crane when he tried to escape the headless horseman he thought was chasing him.. It will be spooky but still family friendly, and tickets need to be reserved ahead of time.

As well as the hayride, the ticket holders will be treated to a block style community party, where, they will find entertainment and lots of other fun. They will also have an opportunity to shop from the various vendors that will be on site. Two nights have been scheduled for the celebration, and the ride tickets will be timed so that the function stays well organized.

Building a spooky atmosphere for a Halloween activity may be easy with assistance from a poster printing company. It will be able to supply everything from signage to oversized "standies” of ghosts and other creepy decor.

Sleepy Hollow will be transporting riders back in time to the days of early America on October 21st and 22nd. Its ticketing system will go live to the public on September 9th.
