The Yonkers Arts Weekend is returning in mid-May to Yonkers.
It is expected to be a weekend featuring art, culture and music across multiple locations in the city. Artists, performers, and creatives will display their work at galleries and local venues. Visitors can experience live performances and hands-on activities for people of all ages.
This event showcases the depth of Yonkers’ creative community. The festival is free and open to the public, giving locals a chance to experience local talent, support small businesses, and see the city in a different light.
The weekend begins Friday, starting with the YW Jailbreak Bash launch party, marking the opening of Yonkers Arts Weekend.
On Saturday, various programs will take place across the city. These will include the Subject Concert Series at Yonkers Public Library, Cartoons Brunch and Freestyle Night at Yonkers Brewing Co., and live music at Simple Motor Company.
Sunday will be the closing day, beginning with Main Street Music Park featuring 914 Collective. This will be followed by additional activities across the city, such as workshops and tours at Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site.
