Yonkers to enjoy festive photo opportunity at local museum

A Yonkers area museum has a fun experience for local households, which will give the whole family a chance to get some festive shots for the holiday season.

Thomas Paine Cottage Museum has scheduled in some holiday photo sessions. While no monetary fee is being charged, everyone who participates is asked to make a donation of a new, unwrapped toy to the Toys for Tots program.

The pictures will be taken with Santa at a station set up on site. The visitors can also take pictures at Sophia Brewster One Room Schoolhouse, which will be decked out for the season.

While pets may participate, they must be up to date on their vaccines and well behaved, and owners must take full responsible for their behavior.

The activity will be on offer for three hours. Guests will be invited to warm up with some s’mores at the fire pit, leave a message for Santa, partake in craftmaking, and visit the photo booth.

Venues that host holiday activities may benefit from the services of a banner printing company. These can provide everything from photo booth backdrops to oversized decor.

The museum has scheduled its family photos with Santa for December 10th, and the festive family schoolhouse picture day will be December 3rd. The donation box for the toys will be located on the venue’s front porch, and it will be open each day for anyone who would like to make a contribution.
