While the winter holiday season may be some time away, an upcoming event will still be filled with wintery fun right in the heart of Yonkers.
The Cross Country Center will be offering a taste of winter festivities by hosting its Christmas in July celebration. It can be enjoyed by kids and adults, and it will be set up in the center of the venue at The Green.
The festivities will feature some special guests straight from the North Pole. The attendees can sit in on a story reading by Mrs. Claus, show off their moves with the elves in a dance party, and spend some time with Santa himself in person. There will be plenty of photo ops, and everyone can enjoy the music as well as the arts and crafts. Both admission and parking are free.
By hosting outside the box events, a venue can attract crowds throughout the year. A flyer printing company will be happy to help spread the word to the public about an upcoming activity, and it can also prepare suitable decor for many types of special occasions.
Santa and Mrs. Claus have scheduled this summertime visit to Yonkers’ Cross County Shopping Center for Saturday, July 22. The fun will run from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, and everyone is invited.
