Individuals and rescue groups that help feral, homeless, and abandoned cats may want to take advantage of an offer coming to Yonkers this June.
There are two dates scheduled for the free mobile spay and neuter clinic, and the community will be partnering with The Toby Project to offer this service. Spots must be reserved ahead of time and the opportunity is only available to residents of Yonkers, who will be asked for their address when they sign up.
All cats brought to the pop-up activity will be treated in a mobile surgical truck. Cat owners are advised that the offering is only for unowned felines. The cats will need to be in traps, and snap tests, vaccines, and other services may be available too. Rescuers will need to provide space for the cats to recover after their surgery.
Not-for-profit groups and other organizations that help animals may appreciate the opportunity to access services free of charge. A poster printing company will have an assortment of ways to make sure as many groups as possible are aware of an upcoming event.
The dates for this free mobile spay and neuter clinic are Sunday, June 16 and Friday, June 28. Both days will get started at 8:00 am, and the location will be released to registrants when they sign up.
