Yonkers plans annual party for seniors

Yonkers seniors know how to have a great time, and they will be the guests of honor for a celebration that will kick off spring in style.

A Seniors Bash has been scheduled for the city in just over a week’s time, and in keeping with the season, the theme will be “birds, bees, and butterflies". An annual event organized for those age 60 and up, it will be hosted by Yonkers Parks.

The four hours of fun will be on offer at Castle Royale, and admission to the festivities will be free. A variety of light refreshments will be served, and everyone can hit the dancefloor to an assortment of popular tunes.

The co-sponsor for the occasion will be the Yonkers Senior Centers. Anyone who has questions about the activity has been asked to call the planners 377-6442.
