Green spaces give the Yonkers community opportunities for recreation and to reconnect with nature, and a special day will show some love to these venues.

July is National Parks and Recreation month, and three venues in the city will be joining the celebration. Unity, Bregano, and Lennon Parks on the list, and each will host four hours of fun.

The participating parks will have a variety of activities set up, and lawn games are on the list. There will be live entertainment to enjoy, and arts and crafts will also be available. Food will be served, and community members can relax while they meet and get to know their neighbors. The planners of the festivities can be contacted by calling 914-377-6450.

Communities that schedule gatherings during the summer months have a variety of options available to them when it comes to marketing these events. A printing services company will be able to help its clients choose the ones that are best suited to their needs and budget.

Yonkers will be celebrating the importance of its public parks and green spaces on Saturday, July 20. Each of the locations on the list will see the schedule of activities kick off at 1:00 pm. Anyone who has questions or needs more information has been asked to contact the planners directly.
