Yonkers mall plans activity full of frosty fun

Although the calendar may say it's summer, a Yonkers venue will be all decked out for the winter holiday season.

The Cross County Center will be bringing a taste of winter to the hot days of July, and the festive occasion will have lots on offer for local families. It will take place on a Sunday afternoon, and no advance registration is necessary.

Those who participate in the occasion will be able to visit the make and tale stations to do some creative crafting, and Mrs. Claus will play games and read a story to the younger guests. A photo booth will be set up so everyone can take some fun pictures of the experience. The celebration will be up and running for two hours at The Green, which is located in the center of the mall, and is free to attend.
