Moms often appreciate gifts made by hand the most, and a Yonkers activity will see kids repairing keepsakes that show their mothers how much they are loved.
The Pelham Art Center has planned a workshop that will encourage children to get creative. They will be preparing paper bouquets to give to their mom or someone else special in their life, and the participation fee is $25.
Each participant will receive the materials they need to craft their arrangement, and they can customize their flowers in any way they wish. The final result will be a three-dimensional bouquet, and they will be walked, step by step, through the process. When the class is over, they will walk away with their finished creation, and the run time for the activity is a little more than one hour. It is intended for kids of elementary school age and tweens.
Hands-on crafting classes encourage kids to explore their creative side. Stationery printers can aid in taking care of the practical side of hosting an event by preparing Letterheads, order sheets, waivers, and other customized business Forms.
The Pelham Art Center has scheduled its Mother's Day Paper Bouquet workshop for May 1, and it will begin at 1:00 pm sharp. The NY Metro Parents website includes more details about the class, as well as links to its registration page.
