A Yonkers historic site will be opening its gates for a special visit, and local plant lovers may want to be among the group exploring the location.
Untermyer Park and Gardens has scheduled a President’s Tour of the site, which has been restored and made open to the public. The outing will be led by Conservancy President Stephan F. Byrns, and as it will take place before the official public start to the day, the participants can count on it being a unique experience.
The participants will be treated to a guided tour of the Indo-Perisan style gardens, and they can ask questions and gain inspiration to use on their own property. Masks are mandatory, and each guest will need to arrange his or her own transportation. Tickets are on offer now for $75 each.
Many of those who take part in an activity of this type enjoy the beauty of a garden, and they also want to learn as much as they can. A brochure printing company will be able to craft materials to give to each guest so that they can gather even more information about the site being toured.
This guided visit to Untermyer Park and Gardens will start at 10:00 am on June 5, and is being offered through the efforts of Go Love NY.
