Yonkers golfers offered spots in fundraising tourney

People itching for an excuse to hit the links at a local course may soon have one, thanks to a Yonkers fundraiser on the green in July.

The 3rd annual Tee Up for a Cure Golf Tournament and Dinner will raise funds for the New York City Hemophilia Chapter, and it will be a day filled with fun. There are three ticket choices available, with those interested able to choose from golf, dinner, or both.

The day will open with a hot breakfast, and every golfer will receive a goodie bag of Promotional Products. They can view the items up for bids in the silent auction and the raffle prizes, and it will offer be time to play through the 18 holes and enjoy lunch.

After the tournament has ended, the player may retire to the clubhouse for cocktail hour before they take their seat for dinner and a presentation of awards. The play will follow a four-person scramble format, and the ticket price for individual golfers is $350. The dinner tickets after $250, while a combination pass for both is $500.

This day of fun in the sun in support of those living with hemophilia will open at 10:00 am on Monday, July 17. The New York City Hemophilia Chapter website offers more information for both players and sponsors.
